This issue of the Journal of Bioethics in Law & Culture marks the end of our second year of publishing. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of this publication specifically, and this organization generally. In addition to the Journal, the Society of St. Sebastian has also published over 75 Sebastian’s Point weekly columns. Both of these platforms have, and still do, provide a great opportunity to learn from the insights of others as well as provide the opportunity to share your own expertise. To those who have already contributed, please continue to do so. To those who have not contributed, please seriously consider adding your voice. Our publications are not created out of thin air, the Society relies on you, our members, to provide much needed material.

In addition to the publications on the website, thanks almost exclusively to Joe Kral, the Society of St. Sebastian has steadily been increasing its profile on social media. In addition to Twitter and Facebook, Joe started producing weekly videos on YouTube, which have been receiving ever increasing views.

Whether through the information from the website or engagement on social media, word about the Society of St. Sebastian is getting out there. Over the past two years the Society has unapologetically taken on the issue of surrogacy and the rights of the unborn children created through IVF. Not that other pro-life groups don’t have positions on these issues, but there is a reluctancy to address them. Additionally, the legal and theological analysis of pro-life policy and legislation by our members, as shown in this issue’s articles, has greatly contributed to identifying and promoting strategies that will be most advantageous to promoting the culture of life; even if that analysis is contrary to what others might think.

Here’s to the continued cooperation of our members in our pursuit of restoring respect for life.
