Person of the Year Nominations

In an effort to recognize the contributions of the unsung heroes of the pro-life movement, the Society of St. Sebastian is instituting a Person of the Year Award. The Person of the Year will embody the bravery of St. Sebastian and how he spoke to the Roman Emperor about the persecution of Christians. This person must show something above and beyond what is normally expected of the pro-life lobbyist, legislative witness, or author. We recognize that many pro-life people are unspoken heroes when it comes to the passage of pro-life legislation. They do not typically receive awards for their work, yet we are always appreciative of the fact that they are working to establish a Culture of Life. The Person of the Year will be someone who is exceptional, who has faced significant odds, and has had the grace to still pursue what was morally right, and has had the grace to still pursue what was morally right.

Nominations will be accepted until October 31, 2020 and given to a committee for consideration. The committee's decision will be announced at the end of the year. If you have any questions please email
